Welcome to a new school year! I hope your summer was filled with joy, rest, and special moments with your loved ones.

As the new Director of Early Education for Norwalk-La Mirada, I am honored to join this incredible community. My goal is to grow and learn alongside our staff, families, and students as we work together to ensure your child has the best possible start in their educational journey.

This year, our theme is Leadership at Every Level, because every member of our school community, including our families, plays a vital role in supporting student success. We are excited to strengthen the connections between preschool, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), and Kindergarten so that your child’s transition through these important early years is smooth, joyful, and full of learning.

We will also continue our work with Conscious Discipline, a program that helps children develop social-emotional skills, self-regulation, and positive relationships. This is our second year with this approach, and we look forward to seeing even more growth in our students’ confidence, empathy, and ability to work together.

I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in preparing your child to be school ready, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
